Octopus Art Doll OOAK Mrs Octopus - Paper clay sculpture of an anthropomorphic octopus 12.2 "

Please welcome Mrs. Octopus. If you have been following my work for a while, you know that I love animals. I have been drawn to anthropomorphic characters for a while now and it was my desire to include some beautiful sea creatures to my portfolio.
This is how Mrs. Octopus was born.

She has the body of an octopus and a humanish face, with deep black eyes that know exactly what lives in the ocean's depths.
She is ethereal and silent, she doesn't need any words to transport us in her world.
She is innocent and willing to accept you in her world, if you'll allow it.

I hope my love for all animals transpires through my art.

She is made of paper clay over a solid wire armature, the skin texture has been obtained by painting several layers of different mediums to reach the effect I wanted.
She is mounted on a base rich with corals and sea life, of course a skull had to be added, the whole sculpture was just incomplete without it.
The base is hand sculpted like all the rest of this piece. Total length 12.2 inches (31 cm).

This is an art doll and it is not suitable for children, like any piece of art, please make sure she is displayed away from direct sunlight and humidity. Please handle with care.

This doll will ship with courier (DHL, UPS or others) to her final destination. Time of delivery will depend but usually it is about 4-5 days, a bit more for Canada.
The doll is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
