OOAK Art Doll Noula The Winged Demon - Handmade collectible doll with doll stand 17,3 " long

I am pleased to introduce Noula the winged demon to you. This is one of those dolls that didn't require much planning, she just wanted to be born.
Everybody has his/her own demons, with Noula I wanted to bring one of mine to life.
Noula is a OOAK doll, she is totally hand sculpted without molds.
She is a ribbon jointed doll. I haven't designed her to be sitting as her costume is very rich and she is best viewed when standing but if you want you can sit her with a support behind her back. The doll stand is included to make it easier for you to display the doll standing.

Noula has bat wings (sort of) which are removable. I have made the wings using a metal armature. The wings have two metal hooks that can be put on her shoulders.
This beautiful demon doll comes with her own doll stand, which is also handmade especially for her. At the base of the doll stand I added the skull of a demon bird.

Noula has deep red hair in an elaborate hairstyle, also her eyelashes are red.
Her beautiful face is painted with acrylics and pastels then sealed.

Her bodice is made of paper previously treated and tailored to suit her body perfectly.
At the bottom of her bodice black lace.
Her skirt is made with black satin and has an underskirt made of pleated black tulle.
The striped black and grey parts are made with cotton.
On her feet gorgeous faux leather high heel boots.
She can very slightly turn her head left and right (not much).
Being a ribbon jointed doll you can pose her the way you like most, always be gentle with the movements.

I do not use molds, each and every doll is unique and hand sculpted. This is a One of a Kind doll.

Noula is made with paper clay (La Doll) over a solid wire armature. She is about 17.3 inches tall (44cm) on her doll stand. Without doll stand she measures approximately 16.5 inches (42cm). The wingspan is approximately 7 inches (18cm)

Doll stand is included, wings are included.

This is an art doll and it is not suitable for children, like any piece of art, please make sure she is displayed away from direct sunlight and humidity. Please handle with care.

This doll will ship with courier (DHL, UPS or others) to her final destination.
The doll is delivered with a Certificate of Authenticity.
