OOAK art doll Swan Bride - Ribbon jointed Anthropomorphic swan art doll 16.5" long

The Swan Bride is a OOAK doll. Totally hand sculpted with paper clay over a strong wire armature, she is gorgeous, very elegant and full of character. Her elaborated costume is something she wears naturally. She is like a piece of fine jewelry.

She is white and pure, her printed paper parts tell a story for those who are able to imagine it.

This doll is the third one of my anthropomorphic series. I don't think I am going to stop soon. I love the way these creatures mix animal characteristics with human ones, they are an endless source of inspiration.

I made her bodice, pants, sleeves and shoes all with paper. The bodice has metal eyelets on its back, and it is closed by a ribbon. It is tailored to suit her body perfectly.
All the paper parts won't tear as the paper has been treated several times before applying it to the doll and after.
I put extreme care into this costume and I enjoyed every minute I worked on it.

The Swan Bride has very long black eyelashes and a beautiful face. On her head a crest with a golden ornament and synthetic white hair.
On her face I applied black lace.
The costume is made with white satin, pleated tulle and precious white lace.
Around her neck a collar made with white lace.
The costume is not removable.
Her shoes are made with paper with a golden ornament and are not removable.
This doll, being so beautiful and unique has a loop around her neck that allows her to be hung on the wall.

I do not use molds, each and every doll is unique and hand sculpted. This is a One of a Kind doll.

My anthropomorphic Swan Bride is made with paper clay over a solid wire armature, she is articulated (ribbon jointed), all her parts are hand sculpted, painted with pastels and acrylics and sealed. She can turn her head left and right.
She is about 16.5" long (42cm).

She can sit without support, you can choose her position. Please be careful when posing your doll, all movements should always be gentle.

This is an art doll and it is not suitable for children, like any piece of art, please make sure she is displayed away from direct sunlight and humidity. Please handle with care.

This doll will ship with courier (DHL, UPS or others) to her final destination. Shipping is free for the US, Canada and Europe.
